The National Technical Standard Innovation Base was established in the Guiyang Hi-tech Zone on Sept 13, marking another step forward in the development of big data in Guizhou province.
Guizhou-Cloud Big Data Industry Development Co will organize the construction and development committee for the base. The committee will be responsible for managing the base, while organizations under the committee will be in charge of developing technical standards and services.
Construction on the base will last for 24 months and by the end of 2019 it will adopt a sustainable market operation mechanism.
With a heavy reliance on core big data companies, the base will focus on big data sharing as well as designing big data technology for use in government, logistics, artificial intelligence and blockchains. There will be a total of 14 professional big data sub committees.
In addition, a public service platform will be established in the base which will provide resources on big data standards, standard applications and standard validation assessment services.
The base will make use of the latest innovations in big data to provide more efficient, flexible and convenient services for entrepreneurs.
The base has attracted 32 advanced domestic companies, such as China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) Big Data Research Institute Co, which will improve technology standards and increase innovation in the field of big data.
