Ancient and Precious Trees

There are 9,046 ancient and precious trees in Guiyang and 216 ancient woods, among which 2,162 trees are of first-grade, 1,478 second-grade, 5,105 third-grade, mainly distributing in Yunyan, Nanming, Huaxi, Wudang, Baiyun, Xiuwen, Kaiyang, Xifeng and Qingzhen districts (city and county). In the urban area ofGuiyang, the ancient trees mainly distribute along the street, around the houses and in the urban parks while the ancient trees in the districts and counties mainly distribute in the natural secondary forest, (the so-called geomantic forest) near the villages and along the road of remote villages and on the mountains.
